People in rural areas have minimal access to healthcare and almost no access to dental care. In a country that only has 1.88 doctors per 1,000 people you can only imagine what happens to the people in remote areas.  Beginning with the basics, we provide vitamins and one meal a day to all students.  There is a medical clinic in the next village operated by a non-government organization where the children are immunized. We provide medications when necessary and a yearly dental team visits to address dental problems of the students and the community.
